  1. The i7 wins for performance and clock for clock. But if you want a decent processor grab a Phenom 1100T, it's ALOT cheaper, and you could grab some nice cooling for it too.
    And the fact that most AM3 motherboards are going to support AM3+ processors coming up.!
    To be honest you'd be crazy to "Go i7" here.
